Worn well, modern lenses are safe and comfortable. Worn on a dry, marginal or already-irritated surface, they can cause real problems. Before we fit anything, we examine the cornea and tear film at the slit lamp, measure the curvature the lens has to match, and check that the surface can tolerate lens wear for the hours you actually need. That check is the difference between lenses you forget you're wearing and lenses you fight with all day.

We place trial lenses on the eye, check how they sit and move, and ask how they feel.
Toric lenses are checked for rotation and stability.
If you are a first-time user, we teach you how to insert, remove, clean, and wear your
lenses safely. You practise before you leave.
If the lenses are suitable, we arrange your prescription and supply. A follow-up or re-
check is scheduled if needed.
