Dr JD Ferwerda, MD, is a Dutch-trained ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience in Europe and the Caribbean. He completed a vitreoretinal fellowship in Utrecht and focuses on cataract surgery, lens exchange, diabetic eye disease, retinal detachment, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration.
