Referrals

At European Eye Center, we welcome referrals from ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals both in Vietnam and abroad.
We specialize in managing complex or advanced eye conditions and provide trusted second opinions for patients requiring specialized diagnostics, surgery, or long-term care. Our goal is to support referring doctors with accurate assessments, clear communication, and coordinated patient management.

How to Refer a Patient

Referring doctors can send patient details, medical history, and any relevant imaging or reports by email or through a short phone call with our team.

Our staff will arrange a convenient appointment for the patient and confirm details with both the referring doctor and the patient. After each consultation or procedure, a summary report is provided, including clinical findings, test results, and follow-up recommendations to ensure continuity of care.

Our Areas of Expertise

We accept referrals for:
• Diabetic eye disease – diagnosis, laser therapy, and management of diabetic retinopathy and macular edema.
• Retina and vitreoretinal conditions – including retinal tear or detachment, macular holes, and complex vitreous disorders.
• Complicated or rare cases – patients who have been unsuccessfully treated or declined elsewhere.
• Post-surgical complications – after cataract, glaucoma, or refractive surgery.
• Second opinions – for complex or uncertain diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Specialty contact lenses – including Cantor Custom (hand-painted), Cantor Prosthetic, and Hydro lenses for infants and children after ROP surgery or for unique visual needs.
